I first became aware of the project Gemini Division (hereafter to be called GD for the purpose of this blog) due to following the career moves of another favorite male actor, Justin Hartley.   Researching all that I could find on the series, is what brought Daz into my radar.   Some other actors who worked so hard on this series are Rosario Dawson, Kevin Alejandro, Matt Bushell, Mark Espinoza and Tony Curran, and there are many more very talented actors, as well as the crew, involved in this.

As a new fan of Daz, I found myself wanting to learn more about him, as well as find out everything I could about his previous works.  I was shocked to see the amount of projects he’s already been in, and even more shocked to realize how many he’s shot in just a short years time.

I’ll begin with the newest to be released, which is tomorrow, Monday, August 18.   It is a strictly all online webisode series named Gemini Division.   NBC’s summary of his character is as follows:

Daz Crawford plays the ruthless, stone-cold Gemini Division agent known as The Cleaner in GEMINI DIVISION, Electric Farm Entertainment’s original web series about Anna Diaz, an undercover vice cop from the NYPD who is thrust into a secret struggle between a classified government agency called Gemini Division and a group of suspected terrorists known as Sims.

After ‘discovering’ Daz, I started to research his projects, and I learned that he has several projects, besides GD, to be released within the very near future.

One of those is called TRENCHES.  And the other is THE VANQUISHER.  Daz also shot a movie called, HAMMER OF THE GODS last year in Bulgaria, to be released on the SciFi Channel, hopefully sometime this fall.   And there is yet one more project he worked on, SERBIAN SCARS, starring Michael Madsen, which should be released this fall.

I’ve learned many things about Daz and with the internet being as accessible as it is to many people around the world, it hasn’t been hard to see his work on various media venues, such as YouTube.com, MySpaceTV.com and other movie sites.   I am excited by what I have been able to view first hand, and eager to see what other types of roles he has played.
